December 21st is the first day of Hanukkah, the festival of lights! I have some friends that celebrate this holiday, and there are lots of other people that celebrate this holiday all over the world. They celebrate it for eight nights and share gifts and food with there families. In lots of families it is also a tradition to eat a special type of bread called Challah it’s pronounced ( Hala) bread. They eat it warm with butter.

Also, Christmas is December 25th. I am sure a lot of you celebrate it. Lots of families decorate a tree with ornaments and all kinds of different decorations, and give each other gifts on Christmas Eve or Day. Just like other types of holidays, this one is also about spending time with your family and friends, sharing good foods and laughs!! I know I love hanging out with my family.

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!
